CAR-VARVI 2009-2012 CYNASEME (approved but not yet started. It will be funded by Italian Campania Region) Annual DUS test for globe artichoke and cardoon
Three varieties are in progress of release in Italy with the following names: Donatello, Raffaello, and Michelangelo. They come from selections within traditional Italian populations.
